Young at heart! Neil Young is a rock icon, born in Toronto, Canada on Nov. 12, 1945. He first found his footing as a member of Buffalo Springfield before embarking on a solo career, which spanned over seven decades. Known for his stripped-back style and weary falsetto, Neil was once dubbed the “Godfather of Grunge”. In addition to playing with his backing band Crazy Horse, he also was a part-time member of Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Neil has been married three times, first to Susan Acevedo from 1968 to 1970, then to Susan Acevedo from 1978 to 2014, and most recently to Daryl Hannah in 2018. He has 3 adult children: Zeke, Ben, and Amber Jean.
Here, Neil Young performs at the 30th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater, in Mountain View, Calif. in Oct. 2016.
